If there are two things in society that no one could ever turn down, they would be 1)Food and 2) Movies. Now, combine the two, and you have our attention. Here are our eight favorite food-related movies that we love so strongly we can almost taste it (well…hopefully you get my point).

1) Julie & Julia

Of course we have to start out with this sweet film. Meryl Streep does it again as she elegantly portrays the famous Julia Child in this wonderful tale of life at different generations. Amy Adams also does a stellar job and it is magical to watch the two work off of each other on screen. While you are watching this film, you cannot help but long to taste the incredible dishes that are being whipped up. Whether you are a foodie or not- this is a great film to lift your spirits and raise your positivity. Plus, who doesn’t absolutely adore the way Meryl talks?

2) Ratatouille

Another classic for the books, Ratatouille is a kid and adult-friendly story of friendship in the most unlikely of ways. Typically, rats have a stereotype of being absolutely repulsive (and yes, they still are in real life), but we can’t help but fall in love with this adorable, fury creature, especially after his quests to save his friends. We are also head over heels for Remy because his search for more is something that we can all relate to in our own lives on a daily basis. The restaurant owner is a character we definitely enjoy hating, but he is pretty fun to laugh at. I don’t know what it is, but there is something truly magical about animated movies, whether you are 5, 25, or 50, and Ratatouille is certainly one for keeps.
