This summer has been a winner for Civil Rights across the country. Not only was Prop 8 struck down (meaning that gay couples across California were free to get married) but stated that DOMA (Defense Against Marriage Act) was unconstitutional. This meant that the Federal government would recognize marriages between same-sex couples in the 13 states and the District of Columbia that allowed gay marriages. Unfortunately, they did not recognize same-sex marriage in states that do not allow it. Regardless of this, this summer was a time for same-sex couples and their allies to celebrate. That’s why we’re giving you a list of celebrities with gay siblings.
Colin Farrell may seem like a badass on screen but he has a softer side to him that you may not know about. He recently announced that he was joining his brother Eamon (who happens to be gay) to stand up against Irish bulling. The two brothers started a prevention campaign that works with Irish
youth to end gay bashing in Ireland.
