Who doesn’t love a good musical, those great and fantastic films that are a movie and something you can sing along with at the same time? No matter what type of movie you like, there is guaranteed to be at least one musical you know the songs to. Here is a list of the top twelve musicals we all know and love.

12) Mamma Mia

The band ABBA has its own musical! A story entirely set against ABBA music, a young girl is about to get married when she finds her mom’s old diary and realizes any one of three men could potentially be her dad. So, she invites all three to the island to walk her down the aisle. Of course, chaos ensues. You’ll have Dancing Queen stuck in your head for a week after this one, and you’ll love it!

11) Grease

I can’t think of anyone who didn’t want to be a part of the T-Bird gang after watching this film. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are super cool in this movie that preludes High School Musical. This is the one we all know and can sing along with.

10) My Fair Lady

Remember, “The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain”? When a professor does an experiment to turn a poor street girl into a sophisticated lady, he didn’t expect to fall in love with her. My Fair Lady is a classic tale and a beautiful film.

How the f@#k does a musical like Mamma Mia beat Sweeney Todd or Pirates of Penzance?

What about Mary Poppins and Singin’ the Rain?!?!

What about Oklahoma, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Guys and Dolls, Hair, Music Man, Oliver? The list of musicals that are better than Mama Mia is endless. Again, you people need to dig a little deeper if you are to have any credibility whatsoever.
