Kurt Russell is one of the most manly men in Hollywood. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this guy play a, well, a role that isn’t him as the alpha male. With good reason, of course, it’s Kurt Russell! He’s very manly, which is why we love to see him on screen. I’ve compiled a list of the ten best Kurt Russell films for you to go out and rent and watch him in all his manly manliness.
10) The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes
Okay, so this one is a little before his manly time, but it’s still a great film! Kurt plays a regular kid who accidentally becomes a super genius. Of course, then he does what all of us would do, he joins a game show and tries to win big money. As with all films, this one has its bad guy, too. The leader of a gambling ring is out to get him just as he’s about to win the big bucks. This one’s kid friendly.
9) Escape From New York
Now we’re into manly man Kurt! This film is about as manly as it gets, he’s got an eye patch, a big gun, and his name is Snake. In this film by John Carpenter, Kurt plays a special forces guy who turned bad guy and is able to get pardoned if he rescues the president. The president, however, has been captured by the high security inmates that are on Manhattan Island (which is now a giant prison that has not escape). There’s a catch, too. He’s got micro explosives injected inside him to ensure he actually saves the president within twenty four hours and doesn’t just run off. It’s going to be a long day for Snake.
