I have always been a major fan of gangster and Mafia films. There are a lot out there to choose from. Some bad, some good, and some simply rise to the top. The Godfather released in 1972 is one such film. It is not only a perfect example of a great gangster movie, but it is just simply one of the best films of any kind. A just watched it again for probably the hundredth time, and sat down to write up some of my favorite things about the film. . .enjoy!
