I don’t know why he hasn’t won an Oscar yet. Leo is by far one of the most talented actors out there and I have always been a huge fan of his. He is very diverse in his roles and deserves to finally get the gold. I watched the Great Gatsby and realized that as an actor, this guy has only gotten better over the years. I don’t think anyone else could have pulled off the part the way Leo did and I personally fell in love with him all over again (not that I ever fell out, of course). Here is a list of the best of Leo. They’re arranged in order of my personal preference. Yes, some movies are missing (I did that on purpose). I’m going for what I found to be his most moving roles, and I’m curious to hear from you which do you think is the best of his work?

10) Titanic

Who didn’t love Jack Dawson? Titanic is one of those films that no matter how many times I see it I always cry. This is a beautiful movie and Leonardo did an excellent job portraying a man in love. However, the role didn’t lend itself for much “acting” as it were, and for me there really wasn’t a lot of character development so this one (even though it is extremely popular) is also a bit lower on the list than some of his others.

9) Romeo and Juliet

Playing a dramatic Shakespearean role isn’t exactly the highest challenge of an actor (so many have been hamlet I’ve lost count), but playing Romeo is different. You have to be a teenager in love. That’s usually only dramatically possible by, well, a teenager in love. I’m a huge fan of classic tales such as this one and I would say that Leo played the best Romeo I have ever seen. I fell in love with him in this film, I really did.
